Yuko Mohri

Born in Kanagawa, 1980. Currently lives in Tokyo. Using everyday objects and machinery, she creates installations to match the environment and make the viewer feel invisible elements such as magnetic fields, gravity, and light. As a grantee of the 2015 Asian Cultural Council (ACC), she completed a residency in New York. The same year she was the grand prize winner of the Nissan Art Award 2015. Recent exhibitions include “Circus without Circus” (Project Fulfill Art Space, Taiwan, 2016), “Roppongi Crossing 2016” (Mori Art Museum, 2016), “Regeneration Movement” (National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art, Taiwan, 2016), “The Yokohama Triennale 2014”, “Sapporo International Art Festival 2014” and more.
