Minami Asami
Born in Sapporo. Lives in Tokyo. Photographer. Minami won the Canon New Cosmos Photography Grand Prix in 2014. Her major works include MATSUOKA!, Oyako Shashin Nyumon (lit. Introduction of Family Photography) and sheHerHers. She has held Automatic Otome-chan (lit. Automatic Maiden), a solo exhibition of photos and tanka (Japanese poem of thirty-one syllables). She has also participated in other exhibitions and art fairs. In 2017, she was involved in the production of Tofu no Kado ni Butsuketa Atama vol. 1 (lit. Head Hit by the Corner of Tofu) in the Tofu Building Project, Artist-in-Residence in Tottori.
