Ayoro Laboratory

Ayoro Laboratory, a unit compromising Tateishi Shinichi (writer and staff member of the Ainu Museum) and Kunimatsu Kineta (sculptor and representative of the Tobiu Art Community), conducts fieldwork mainly in Shiraoi and Noboribetsu. Ayoro is the name of an area that used to be on the boundary between Shiraoi and Noboribetsu. They have collaborated with Ishikawa Naoki since last year to conduct on-site art activities together several times.
