A solo exhibition by photographer Ishikawa Naoki, who has walked around the world with a camera.

This project will highlight the appeal of Ishikawa, who has photographed encounters and surprises while traveling as far and wide as the North Pole, the Himalayas and city streets around the world.

Since 2001 Ishikawa has traveled extensively around Hokkaido.

In this exhibition, photographs taken in the Shiretoko Peninsula, Abashiri and other places in eastern Hokkaido, Shiraoi, Noboribetsu and other places in the Iburi region, and the island of Sakhalin and other northern islands will be on display. Ayoro Laboratory (Tateishi Shinichi, Kunimatsu Kineta) will collaborate with him to display work in Shiraoi and Noboribetsu. The results of field work not only in natural surroundings but also at ruins and sightseeing spots will be shown using photographs, sculptures and text. Viewers can follow the tracks of Ishikawa, who has walked around the globe since he was a teenager, and see his work in the north.
