Arnont Nongyao

Born 1979, Bangkok. Arnont graduated with BFA from the Faculty of Fine Art, Chiang Mai University in 2003. Although Arnont graduated with a painting major, he currently works with various different media which spans sound, video, installation, site specific work and public art. Arnont’s work engages with his interest in vibration; he works on diverse art experimental projects, all vibration-related. Some of his selected solo exhibitions include “Unstable(ry) Life” Bangkok-Quebec exchange program (organized by AVATAR), at MANIF D’ART, Quebec, Canada (2016), “Pinky Soundy Bicycle Roaming in Yokohama” (Art together with the Town), Koganecho Bazaar 2015, Site C-studio, Yokohama, Japan (2016). TRANCE at Gallery VER, Bangkok, Thailand (2014), Imaginarium (Water Cave) at Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand (2011).
