Born in 1965. He started his artistic activities after learning art and architecture at Tokyo University of the Arts. With studios in China, Mexico, Belgium and Japan, he has been active in Japan and abroad. He produces various genres of works, mainly sculpture and also including painting, drawing, photography, video and performance. He participated in Skulptur, Projekte Munster in 1997, and the Venice Biennale in 2003.
