KOKUYO, creator of A laboratory for working, learning, and living space “THE CAMPUS” in Minato, Tokyo, will use the theme of “a space between appreciation and tourism” to create the Sapporo Cultural Arts Community Center venue, which will act as a new information center where one can “visit” art as a tourist and “appreciate” the city like a work of art. The spatial design will use KOKUYO’s new measure of happiness, “We-Being”, to create a comfortable area that expresses the relationships between people, objects, and places, as well as what lies “in between” them, from multiple perspectives.
