SAPPORO INTERNATIONAL ART FESTIVAL

Maruyama Mountain is located to the west of the central Sapporo area, and the Maruyama District extends around the mountain. While being moderately close to the central area, it is rich in nature, and is the home of Maruyama Park, and designated natural treasure, Maruyama Primeval Forest. Additionally, there is the Hokkaido Jingu (Hokkaido Shrine), trendy cafes and restaurants, galleries and museums, making it a popular browsing area for the residents.
The Maruyama Zoo will be one of the family-friendly venues during SIAF2017.
