Satoshi Katono

Satoshi Katono has been carrying out an art project in former　coal mines in Sorachi, Hokkaido, focusing on the process of　modernization in terms of coexistence with nature, new energy　resources, and infrastructure development.
For SIAF2014, as　well, Katono will show an installation made from materials left　behind in the former coal mines of the Sorachi district.
